Noura Mohamed Kaboré, known professionally as Alif Naaba, is a singer and
composer born on July 18, 1982, in Koudougou, Burkina Faso. Naaba began a
musical journey by absorbing traditional music from a mother who was a
traditional singer. In the late 1990s, Naaba experimented with various musical
styles before creating a unique Afro-Groove sound. Naaba's career took off in
1999 with the release of the debut album Regards Métis (1999), which won the
prize for Best Diaspora Artist at the Kundé Awards. Naaba gained recognition
with subsequent albums such as Foo (2005), Wakat (2009),...
