Ali Haider, born 22 October 1967 in Karachi, is a pop singer whose career began
in 1988. In 1991, he released the album Qarar, followed by the 1993 hit "Poorani
Jeans" from Sandesa (1993). His subsequent albums include Mahi (1998) and
Saaiyan (1999). After his son’s death in 2009, he stepped away from mainstream
music, produced religious tracks, and returned in 2012. In 2025, he collaborated
with Ali Zafar on "Zalim Nazron Se" for Zafar’s album Roshni and performed it at
the 2025 Hum Awards in Houston.
