Aleste, a Chilean pop rock band formed in 1993, was founded by Alfredo Alonso
following his work with the group Diva. The band initially consisted of Alonso,
Rodrigo Espinoza, Ricardo Viancos, Juan Pablo Nieto, and Lito Zerené. In their
debut year, Aleste signed with Polygram and released their self-titled album
Aleste, which included the hit single "Hay un Límite," one of the most
successful songs in Chilean music of that decade. Other notable tracks from this
period include "Tiempo Blanco" and the ballad "Nadie Como Yo." In 1995, Aleste
