Albina Shagimuratova
Albina Anvarovna Shagimuratova, born on October 17, 1979, in Tashkent, is a
Russian opera lyric coloratura. She rose to international prominence after
winning the gold medal at the International Tchaikovsky Competition in 2007. In
2008, she gained worldwide recognition for her performance as the Queen of the
Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute at the Salzburg Festival under conductor
