Alastair Greene is an American blues-rock guitarist, singer and songwriter. Born
in Santa Barbara, California, on April 18, 1971, he discovered music with his
music-loving parents, whose mother was a pianist, and his grandfather Alfred
Chico Alvarez, formerly trumpeter in Stan Kenton's jazz orchestra. He learned to
play the guitar in his teens, and proved to be a gifted instrumentalist. Trained
