Al Lewis
Al Lewis, born in 1984 in Pwllheli, Wales, is a Welsh singer and songwriter. He
formed his first band, Bluewood, during his time at Ysgol y Creuddyn in
Llandudno. His breakthrough came in 2007 when he placed second in the Cân i
Gymru contest with "Llosgi (Burning)", co-written with Arwel Lloyd Owen.
Following this success, Lewis released his first Welsh language EP, Byw Mewn
Breuddwyd. He performed at notable festivals such as Wakestock and Sŵn Festival,
and in 2009, he released his debut album, Sawl Ffordd Allan, which topped the C2
