Akcent, a Romanian dance pop act, was formed in 1999. The group initially
consisted of Adrian Sînǎ and his partner Ramona Barta, who released their debut
album Senzatzia. In 2000, the lineup expanded to include Marius Nedelcu, Mihai
Gruia, and Sorin Brotnei, solidifying the quartet known internationally. Their
breakthrough came with the release of "Ţi-am promis" from the album În culori,
