Eri Aikawa, born 29 April 1972 in Nagasaki, Japan, emerged as a rock singer and actress. She debuted in the late 1980s, releasing her first single "Junai Countdown" on 20 April 1988, followed by "AB Complex" on 3 August 1988 and "SHOCK ME!" on 26 October 1988. Her early work appeared on the 4 September 1988 album Kiiroi Kirin, establishing her in the Japanese pop‑rock scene.
