Agony
Agony is a Colombian extreme metal band founded in Bogotá in 1993 by guitarist
Andrés Jaramillo and drummer Alfonso Pinzón. They became one of the country’s
most influential and historically significant metal acts. After releasing their
self-titled demo in 1994, the band issued Live All the Time in 1995, regarded as
Colombia’s first live metal album, and appeared at the inaugural Rock al Parque
festival. Their acclaimed debut studio album, Millennium, followed in 1996,
combining aggressive metal with themes reflecting Colombia’s social reality.
