Agnieszka Osiecka, born on October 9, 1936, in Warsaw, Poland, was a prominent
Polish songwriter. She began her career writing songs for the Student Satirical
Theatre in 1954 and achieved significant success at the first National Festival
of Polish Song in Opole in 1963, winning multiple prizes for her lyrics,
including "Piosenka o Okularnikach" and "Mój pierwszy bal". Osiecka collaborated
with notable composers such as Krzysztof Komeda. Throughout her career, she
released several albums, including Pięć Oceanów (1997) and Ocean Różowy (2002).
