After the Burial, an American progressive metalcore band from Minneapolis, Minnesota, was founded in 2004 by Nick Wellner, Trent Hafdahl, Justin Lowe, and Greg Erickson. The group's first album, Forging a Future Self, was released in 2006, via Corrosive Records. After the Burial signed with Sumerian Records in 2008, releasing their second album, Rareform.
