A House was an Irish rock band formed in Dublin in 1985 by vocalist Dave Couse,
guitarist Fergal Bunbury, drummer Dermot Wylie, and bassist Martin Healy. The
group honed their skills performing in local venues such as McGonagle's club and
RTÉ's TV GaGa. Their earliest recorded appearance was on the charity compilation
Blackrock Youth Aid '85. After recording a John Peel Session for BBC radio, A
House signed with Blanco y Negro, releasing the singles "Heart Happy" and "Call
