36 Crazyfists was an American metalcore band formed in Anchorage, Alaska, in December 1994. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Brock Lindow, guitarists Steve Holt and Ryan Brownell, bassist JD Stuart, and drummer Thomas Noonan. The group released its first EP, Boss Buckle, on cassette in 1995. In 2000, the band signed with Roadrunner Records, which released its debut studio album, Bitterness the Star, on April 4, 2002.
