1910 Fruitgum Company
The 1910 Fruitgum Company, an American bubblegum pop band, originated in New
Jersey in 1965. The group initially formed as Jeckell and the Hydes, with
original members Frank Jeckell, Mark Gutkowski, Floyd Marcus, Pat Karwan, and
Steve Mortkowitz. In 1967, they signed to Buddah Records and released their
debut single "Simon Says", which reached number four on the US Billboard Hot 100
chart and peaked at number two on the UK Singles Chart. The band's success
continued with hits such as "May I Take a Giant Step" (US number 63), "1, 2, 3,
Red Light" (US number five), "Special Deliver...
